In May of 1995 St. Matthew's Congregation voted to aquire an 8.5 acre parcel of land on 127th street about 1/2 mile west of Archer. We have approximately 340' frontage on 127th street and approximately 60' frontage on Archer

Our initial purchase price for the 8.5 acres was $650,000.00. Our current loan balance as of December 1st, 2003 was $39,817.39. An incredible accomplishment to reduce our debt approximately $610,000.00 in 8 years.

We had a donation to hire an architect and create some renderings (colored drawings) of what the new complex might look like. These renderings will be posted soon on this web site.
